Relationships
Gaku Yaotome
Embarrassingly and devastatingly in love with each other, and mad that it took them so long to admit it to each other.
Tenn Kujo
Tenn is difficult to get along with,
and sometimes his attitude is a little unnerving to Robin, but otherwise she admires his work ethic and they're civil/mildly friendly with one another.
Ryunosuke Tsunashi
Ryuu and Robin get along quite well, with both of them having friendly dispositions and a fierce sense of loyalty. Robin envies Ryuu's positive relationship with his family, but also admires it. They can definitely share a laugh together.
Momose Sunohara
Robin loves how funny and charismatic Momo is, and how easily he can make a room of people feel at ease just because he's there talking to them. She suffers from some issues with confidence and self-esteem due to personal problems (issues with her family relationships, and other relationships that became unhealthy and toxic), and frequently asks him for advice on how she should present herself as an idol.
Yukito Orikasa
Autism to autism communication. They're both incredibly passionate about writing and creating music, and have spent entire evenings during group outings discussing concepts for songs. They also both suffer from a chronic fatigue/pain condition so they have an understanding and can tell when the other is just about at their limit.
Q&A/Lore
how did they meet?
Robin has always been interested in performing and singing, particularly in becoming an idol as she loves the idea of making people smile with a song. She ended up moving to Japan, for personal reasons and to get away from her overbearing family, where she found out that Yaotome Productions was holding open auditions to take on new talent (something unprecedented and an opportunity that she wasn't going to let go of easily). On the way to her audition, she realised that she had absolutely no idea where she was going, and decided to ask somebody for directions. Gaku noticed her wondering around with a letter in her hand with the company's name and, intrigued, asked her what she was doing. She asked him if he could tell her where the building was, apologising profusedly when she realised who he was and feeling guilty for bothering him. He said it was no problem, and directed her to the building where she was able to audition. She ended up getting through a few rounds of the auditions, but unfortunately didn't make it to the very end. Feeling quite crushed, she planned to give up on her dreams of becoming an idol when, out of nowhere, the person who did end up passing the auditions flaked out and Robin was contacted and asked if she was still interested. She ended up meeting with Yaotome Productions, discussed some concepts that she had in mind, and they came up with her stage name - HAUNTEDLily, a combination meant to invoke ghostliness and gothic aesthetics but also sweetness and purity. As two people who worked at the same company, they would end up bumping into each other quite a lot, and quick chats turned into grabbing a coffee together to discuss music, and into meeting more and more frequently. Their relationship slowly, but surely, became quite intimate.
what was the confession like?
They ended up being unable to spend as much time together or meet in secret because of the public's sudden heavy scrutiny, and the busy schedules they both had to adhere to, so all they could do was text each other to check in. It was a sad time for the both of them, as they had always considered their relationship something casual/not quite romantic but also not quite unromantic... a bit of a question mark?People around them started to notice that they weren't in the best of moods, and would appear down or irritable for reasons difficult to explain, although they could be professional for their idol duties.Robin took it really hard, and started to realise just how much she'd come to depend on seeing Gaku every chance that she could to lift her mood, and spent a lot of time venting (and drunkenly crying) to Yuki and Momo, who encouraged her to just talk to him about it and tell him how she feels. One day, she was out for a walk in the rain to clear her head when, out of nowhere, it turned out that Gaku had decided to do that very same thing and all it took was one look from each other for everything to click and for them to both realise that they really loved and needed each other and couldn't stand stepping around it anymore. They ran to each other and had their first kiss, getting absolutely soaked in the rain and not caring even the slightest bit - and then they just held each other for a little while, until Robin asked if he'd like to go somewhere to eat. The decision to start being seen together in public on dates was a quietly and unanimous one. They were just tired of hiding.
what was their first date like?

have they ever collaborated on an idol project
They have! They formed a small subunit together when they went to karaoke on a date night and realised how much fun they were having singing together!
Their first single, "ALIEN", was a big success with many fans of both TRIGGER and HAUNTEDLily
